About the Self Catering Accommodation

Downstairs there is a large living room with Aga type stove at one end for cooking and water heating, and an inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove at the other. Off this is the Chapel Room with another woodburning stove looking out over the large garden and Snowdon, with patio doors leading to a sheltered south facing terrace with tables, chairs and beautiful flowers.

The fully equipped galley type kitchen is off the living room and at the back is a new shower room, separate toilet and utility room. There is also a separate dining room with a large table and antique Welsh dresser.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds, 1 with twin beds and 1 with 3 single beds. Off the landing is a large modern bathroom, from the bath you can see the summit of Snowdon and 2 narrow gauge railways! There is also a separate toilet.

Outside there is a large secluded garden with uninterrupted views of the mountains and gates to stop small children escaping. There is secure car parking for 4 cars alongside the house and adjacent is our private car park for more parking or football.

Rent includes bed linen (but not towels), heating and electric. There is a seasonal supplement of £30 per week or £15 for short breaks.

Broadband is available with wireless router - bring your own laptop. There is a payphone in the house - there is no mobile coverage.

" We have just returned home after staying at Chapel House for a long weekend as a party of 7 people. Chris was there to greet us as soon as we arrived, he was very friendly and helpful. The house is situated at the bottom of Mount Snowdon, minutes from the Rhyd-Ddu path up the mountain. To say the house is in a perfect location is an understatement! It is opposite the pub which is also as bonus, the food was delicious! The house was clean and tidy and full of all the amenities you could need. The log burner in the living room kept us warm and snug in the evening and we enjoyed dinners together in the large dining room. Chris gave us excellent advice for climbing Snowdon and places to visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to return soon! "

" A lovely house in a truly stunning location, listing is spot on, loads of space for the 8 of us. The pub acc ross the road is a bonus, make sure you put out bird seed and you will have a plethora of birds and wildlife!!! "
